EM3 iOn is easy

EM3 iOn is easy for anyone to use

Managing your Web sites with EM3 iOn™ (information object network) is easy because of its centralized Web-based interface. There are no applications to install on your PC other than Microsoft Internet Explorer, which you probably already have.

When you log into the secure admin application, you are ready to manage anything to which you have access. In your personal workspace, you see any tasks that need your attention or those that will enter your queue soon. You may also see the status of any content objects you own or have requested that are still being worked on. In addition to optional popup alerts and email notifications, you can set personal preferences for all that you want to see here.

Next to the workspace area is the main administration menu where you can select the type of information or system behavior you wish to manage. For example, if you want to correct a misspelling within a paragraph of text on the home page of one of your sites, simply select the site, then the page to edit, type the correction, and publish.

All of the screens within EM3 iOn are consistently presented and designed for non-technical communicators to understand. Even complex features, such as workflow, are easy to establish using click-and-drag and simple text entry. No programming or scripting is required.

Benefits of EM3 iOn's ease of use
Because all aspects of your Web sites - content, context, security, versioning, workflow, email, metadata, and user management - can be controlled from a simple centralized application, you can distribute Web management responsibilities to your existing resources with a very low learning curve.
